켈리포니아 네바다 연회, 엘 까미노 지방회 소속 캠벨 연합감리교회 담임목사로 섬기던 김효신 목사가 지난 월요일 새벽
갑작스런 뇌출혈 증세로 병원에 입원해서 치료를 받았지만 회복되지 못하고 어제 오전, 하나님의 부르심을 받았습니다.
장례예배는 2월 9일 주일 오후 5시에 켐벨 연합감리교회 (1675 Winchester Blvd., Campbell, CA 95008)에서 드려집니다.
슬픔 중에 계신 사모님과 모든 가족들께 하나님의 위로하심과 천국소망이 함께 하시기를 위해서,
하나님의 선하신 뜻을 믿는 믿음으로 승리하며 나갈 수 있기를 위해서 기도해 주시기를 바랍니다. ,

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
"Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4)
I am saddened to share with you the sudden death of our brother in Christ, Rev. Paul Kim, pastor of Campbell United Methodist Church. Paul suffered an aneurysm earlier this week.
Paul is a clergy member of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference and has served Campbell since Advent of 2012.
A celebration of life will be held this Sunday, February 9, at 5 p.m. at Campbell United Methodist Church. I will be preaching and the Rev. Kristie L. Olah, District Superintendent for the El Camino Real District, will be presiding.
Prior to Campbell, Paul served First United Methodist Church of Sunnyvale, United Methodist Church of Little Falls, New Jersey (2004-2011), First United Methodist Church of Ridgefield, New Jersey (1994-2004), Hanul Church of the Compassionate Christ, New York City (1989-1991), Korean Church of the Bronx, Bronx, New York (1984-1986), and Korean Community Church of New Jersey, Tenafly, New Jersey (1980-1982).
Fluent in six languages (Koine Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Classical Chinese, German, French, Korean, and Spanish), he earned a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, a M.Div. in Church and Society from the same institution, and a B.A. in English Literature from Bethany Bible College.
Paul is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Dr. Christie Huh. They moved to California in 2011 from the East Coast driving across the continental United States and Canada in their Prius visiting 20 states and 15 national parks, along with their shit tzu, Evie.
Campbell United Methodist Church is located at 1675 Winchester Blvd., Campbell, CA 95008. Condolences can be sent to his wife, Dr. Christie Huh at 2088 Eucalyptus Court, Santa Clara, CA 95008.
